Little Brother
First Post:
Dates:
The author of the book Little Brother is Cory Doctorow.
The cover depicts some teenagers, which means that those might be the main characters.
It is difficult to say what the ending will be because I am not that far into the book, but I think that everybody will fight against the terrorists.
Second Post:
A text to text connection for Little Brother I think should be between Little Brother and the Outsiders, because both books are about fighting, even though it may be in different ways. Also, both books set the main characters as sort of renegades.
A text to world connection could be between Little Brother and the frequent gangster things that have been going on because in the book, there are terrorists, and both gangsters and terrorists live outside the law.
Third Post: Asking Questions
Fourth Post: Visualize
The picture below reminds me of the explosion that took place at the beginning of the novel, where the terrorists blow up the bridge and Darryl gets stabbed. I think this represents the novel because it was a terrible thing and this explosion looks terrible too.

Third Post: Asking Questions
- Why do the characters try to fight against their captors rather than just bow down? - I think that the characters fight so they can regain their freedom.
- Why does Darryl get stabbed in the crowd, and by who? - Even though the book says that everybody was panicked and was running around, I still think that the people who captured them stabbed Darryl first.
- Who are the captors? - I think that the captors are the law and they just made a mistake in capturing the main characters.

Fifth Post:
I think that the main character W1n5ton or M1k3Y would have participated in the Vancouver riots because the entire novel was about fighting back against a government that is out of control and has lots of power. He would have definitely have participated because he started a few riots in the novel himself.
*Spoiler Alert*
Sixth Post: Final Post
The big idea in this book is that governments shouldn't have too much power or else they will become corrupted. I thought similar things at the beginning of the novel because of the back of the book, but this proves that governments should never get too much power. I think now that it is even more proven that most governments can and will become corrupted with too much power. In the novel, the world is a better place at the end of the novel because they manage to overthrow the government. I could make the world a better place by keeping it is the way it is because the economy is relatively good right now.
